Looking to run my car this weekend , I understand it's a track rule to have extended studs , My track doesnt inforce that . My question is will the 13" lenso Wheel/Slick work with factory studs on a 92 Civic? All brake components are stock ... I have ARP Studs just have not had a chance to get them installed yet. Thanks guys.
I ran stock studs all last year with 13" Lenso's, so yes they will work but I would look into putting the extended studs in asap. I wont run my car this year without them
What model is your civic? I'm almost 100% sure civic models that came with 13's have shorter studs than like ex/Si's. my dx studs were barely long enough to run a set of 99-00 Si's. the lensos will probably work, but definitely get your extendeds on soon.

I've also never heard of tacking the studs, not to say that it's a bad idea though. I do however replace hub bearings while doing wheel studs.
Haha. Well I've seen 1 in 10 cars that didn't need tack welds. I've always done it to all of mine and everyone I know has always done it to theirs.
Just did my extended studs for my lensos for this season. I replaced my bearings at the same time. Upgraded to a DSS 3.9 setup, and they had the short stud in them. I actually went with the late model GM 12x1.5 stud because it has the larger diameter knurl. Had to press them in. No welding needed on those.
