i bought a h22a block for 20$ this morning lol. with a messed up balance shaft. some bolt heads broke in there.


and i also want to change the balance shaft belt. How long should balance shaft belts last for

just delete the BS and be done with it.

what else is wrong with the h22a...i know someone wouldnt sell a perfectly fine h22a for 20 bucks for just having broken bolts...

I have it on my engine mount hoist and i only inspected said damage. Car was owned my by friend. the h22 was in a EG and he totaled it after shooting the engine with nos. so maybe the piston rings are fried too. but 20$ cant go wrong.

so the demand isnt high because this stuff is everywhere. all the junk yards here have so many preludes with h22s in em

 

Haha it helps for sure.Pretty similar here, I have bought 2 complete H22s for $200 each, and got a complete H22 head from a guy for 30 bucks worth of beer lol.
