Here is what I have:
97 Acura CL F22B1
P28 ECU with Hondata S300
turbo

I just swapped a JDM engine into my car and have no spark. I bought the JDM engine complete, but swapped a few parts due to poor condition. So now I have a JDM block, USDM head with distributor, US OBD2 wiring harness with OBD1 ecu.

the new JDM motor did not have the crank position sensor (or is called the CKF??) I would have used the JDM head and dizzy but the wires were butchered and not usable.

So this is my problem of no spark, correct? Do I just need to get a new JDM dizzy? Everything else is plugged in, have fuel pressure just no spark

 

The CKF is probably in the dizzy for the JDM motor, Im sure your injectors arent pulsing either. Sounds like you need to do some wiring research. The motor you have is probably a obd1 not 2.

 

thanks for the reply, I have been searching all over and I know what I have to do now, except im not sure which sensor is which inside the dizzy and the colors don't match anything that I have found. can anyone tell me which of the four wires that my finger is touching/pointing to is what

TDC sensor is what two wires and which one is ground

CKP sensor is what two wires and which one is ground

if anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it, im starting to get dizzy from all these searches
