How about an update?
Sold the car Feb. 2009 to a kid in Austin, TX. We stayed in contact.

Fast forward to Nov. 2001. The buyer had enlisted in the Navy and been deployed to various bases around the world. Mean while the car sat in his parents barn in Austin. He finally decided to post it up for sale as he would not be able to enjoy it until his enlistment was over. I had always regretted selling the car, and knew that I had to have it back! The only thing that Sid between me and getting my baby back was the obstacle of selling my Q45...
Mar. 2012- The time finally came to be reunited!

And I drove straight to the body shop to start the rebuild

Pulled the motor to paint the bay and did a mild shave/tuck while it was out

Got a full color change, shaved the moldings and antenna, and replaced the wings west aero parts for Random Sports back bumper to match the front as well as C-West side skirts

Back from the paint shop with a fresh new look!
-note while the car was under the knife, I has some side business going on at the powdercoat shop

Engine bay wasn't quite doing it for me

Engine bay after

Finally how it sits now(until I get bored again...)

Didn't realize where I left off on this thread. This story does not have a happy ending, but I will add a couple pictures from the last show I did before selling it.
