Default 97 gsr into 97 ej8. Need harness help.

Im swapping a gsr into a 97 civic, I have a 96-98 ex manual harness. I tried plugging everything in, however not everything was utilized. I hear it might take some splicing/extending. Ive searched but I cant seem to find a write up. Ive found how tos for gsrs into egs, obd1 b18s into obd2 chasis, 00 gsrs into 00 civics but no write up for my exact circumstances. Can someone point me in the right direction. Does everything on the harness need to be plugged in or will some just hang loose? What needs to be spliced/extended?
Thanks H-T

To be honest I dont really know. Im fairly new to working on cars, but I am mechanically inclined. This is my first swap, I got the engine out with no problem, this is the first real trouble Ive had. I'll take pictures of what didnt hook up later and will post them. Thanks.

For the most part should be plug n play:

-IAT has different plugs
-CKF is 3 wire vs 2 (considering your swap is not JDM)

Post pics of your plugs that don't go to anything

The engine and ecu are both jdm, do those two things still apply?

Those are junction and should have a plug in them.without them car will not run. This is what they look like.

Uh, not trying to be a dick but how do you not know what didn't get plugged in?
Did you already swap this?
Just trace the unplugged stuff back and you'll see, but it's most likely the items that were already listed.
