my freind crashed his car and thats were i got my engine and he broke something in it that conects to the piston but the piston look in good condition and i'm not sure if its the rod that broke and alls i need to know if the rod holds the piston? yes a dumb question but i'm just getting into this

 

rod then the piston connects to that and the wrist pin holds the piston to the connecting rod.

 

take it apart and play with it, weeeeeee
