NY 1989 Dodge Colt GT, super rare, 6 bolt 4G63 swapped| New York |
Up for sale or trade is my '89 Colt GT with a 6 bolt 4G63 swap. I love the Colt, extremely, extremely fun to drive and it absolutely RIPS. It was an impulse buy and now I have decided to move on.
The Colt GT's are a rare breed. From my research they had only made 1,500 for 1989. They were original 4G61 turbo 1.6L motors. This makes the GT's a little easier to swap a 4G63 into as they were already based off a 4G motor. They are also FWD not AWD.
The guy I bought it from was an older gentleman from New Jersey, I believe he did the swap. He daily drove the car for 2+ years and drove it to Ohio to the Buschur Shootout two years in a row. The car is super reliable. It is a stock 6 bolt 4G63 with around ~70k miles. The Colt itself has 128k miles on the chassis.
It has new KYB suspension all around. Fairly new Dunlop DZ101 tires as well. The car is tuned on Apexi SAFC-II, running around 15-16psi. It has Evo 8 560cc injectors, Evo 8 FMIC set up with custom charge piping, stock 14b turbocharger, and a 3" exhaust going to a 2.5" slash cut side exit tip. The previous owner had the car resprayed the original black, paint looks great. The interior is in OK shape, the expected wear and tear for a 24 year old car.
It is an easy low 12 second car. It has performed very well on the street against cars that trapped 112-114mph at the track.
As far as trading goes, it must be a fun car to rip around in. This means no daily driver stuff with stock d series or anything. I already have a daily and a truck.
I'm sure I am leaving stuff out. If you have any questions, PM me and I will be happy to answer them. Car is located in New York, Upstate.

I'd say around $4k. If you want me to include my extra parts add a few bucks. FIC1200cc's, oem fresh rebuilt Evo 3 16G turbo, BNIB MItsu head gasket, BNIB ARP head studs...basically a set up to give the car another 100-120whp once tuned.
