Default Wiring help with Prelude fogs in EF Si

I just snagged some Prelude fogs from a yard, I have them wired up, and followed a walk through that had the wire colors mixed up and that was a nightmare in itself. After finally figuring out what was actually what I am not having any luck figuring out how to wire in the relay.

I'm using the Mitsuba rc 2201 and cannot figure out what I'm missing. I have tested the relay, it works, I'm just a retard when it comes to wiring.

The lights work fine when I don't have the relay wired in, so I got irritated and just left it. Of course this burned out the switch (I was using the one from the prelude, not expensive real ef one yet ).

Basically all I need is someone to tell me what the 1,2,3,5 pin labels stand for. Or if there is an install for dummies write up that works too.

Lastly, is there a more common oem switch that I can use instead of the actual fog light switch that is worth more than gold on ebay? I have a rear defroster switch on hand. Thanks a ton!

Thanks, I had already seen that one though. I know the relays are good, I've swapped them with other working ones. What I need to know is how it gets wired into the fog lights harness. What goes to and from the pins?

Ok - sorry. I thought you just needed to see how the relay was wired.

Here is how to do it with a Bosch relay

Bosch -> Mitsuba
85 -> B
86 -> D
87 -> A
30 -> C

Awesome man, that helps a ton. Hopefully last question from the short bus, my Mitsuba relay says 1,2,3,5 not abcd or am I just missing something?

In the link I sent, it shows actually relay pins and assigns them letters.
To verify that these pins/letters are correct, hook pins 'B' and 'D' to power and ground.
It doesn't matter which one goes where - you should hear a click.
If you get a click then all is good.

Alright great. I think I got this. Once I can find a oem switch I can use, I'll give it a shot again. Thanks again!

Cool, I'll keep an eye out for one. Have you used one before?
