Upgrading to F23b from F22b2
I was wondering if i were to swap it out, would i be able to use anything that i currently have from the f22 on the f23 engine? new to the game, recently started going to school for automotive.
What year Accord/F22B2, is it a 94-95 OBD1 or 96-97 OBD2?
As far as swapping parts. There really isn't much that you would want to keep from the F22B2 over the F23A*. The intake and exhaust are both better from the F23A*. F22B2 is non VTEC and the F23 is VTEC so you will need to take that into consideration as well. You will need to add some wires and use a VTEC ECU.

my dizzy on it is like 5-6 months old still good and the alternator too. my tranny was rebuilt 10-11 months ago, gonna replace my clutch and my axels are only 3 weeks old before my engine took a s***.
Transmission and drive train (axles) will bolt up to the F23 no problem. Not so sure about the distributor, you would have to take some measurements and see if it will fit in the bracket. It may need a shim or two.
You could try the F22B2 distributor, However it may be 180 out on the OBD2 F23. I'm not 100%. Someone else will have to chime in on that one.

So im getting everything on the long block with that being said, im wondering if the only thing i have to worry about is the harness and the ecu if i just want to take out the old f22 and throw in the f23?
