Man you have seriously asked THE broadest question possible. I don't think anyone will break this question down and answer it thoroughly for you. D-series drops in with stock mounts with only a couple of exceptions, all else will require a mount kit. Research all the different engine series and you'll find out what it takes to install each one. Weigh out the pros/cons of each and then make a decision.

Boosted b16 with nawz... Sweet burnouts yo

Seriously... Read, read, and read, then it's just trial and error. People here are more willing to help with problems encounterd DURRING a swap than somone who "may do one."

Cheapest way to go fast is b20 turbo and tuned, just stay under 300hp, 250 is good and will fly.
325whp 88crx full interior can pull 800awhp Evo, been there done that but don't expect sleeves to hold over 300 for any period of time, some get lucky and last years, others just days

If you wana drop big bucks go b18 forged sleeves and bored to a 2.0, forged internals and get everything balanced, can easily hold over 800hp with a good top end, and tune.
