Looking to get my LS-T back on the road after ~5 years of sitting. I had it running quite well on Uberdata which I set up and street tuned myself after much reading. I tore the car down for some suspension upgrades, ceramic coating, etc. And got distracted with other projects.
Anyway, since I'm going to have to relearn probably 80% of what I knew to begin with I'm considering digging into a system thats a little more relevant. I've read a lot of positive reviews regarding Neptune, and the support and dedicated forum seem like they would be really helpful to a novice tuner. I am drawn to the AEM primarily because I could later utilize my experience with that interface to tune other projects (v6/v8) with FIC modules.
What should I consider as some deciding factors?

The AEM FIC genuinely sucks in comparison to Neptune and is the same price, there is no contest here. If you "need" to use a piggyback on a different application, it's very simple and there is virtually no learning curve for it if you understand Neptune.
