Default Hands Free Bluetooth pairing will not initiate

I just bought used 09 Ridgeline with navigation.
Unfortunately, they chose to do all BT tasks via voice command.
What I have is this:
1. Turn key to I or II position
2. Press Talk key and wait for beep
3. No matter what command you say, system only beeps twice and that's it.

I tried, sales guy tried, tried again at home, watched nice "easy does it" video on youtube - no luck in my case. Pairing will not initiate, or say command like "Phone-book" will produce no results. Only 2 beeps.
In Info screen, "cellular phone-book" is dark, so I safely assume there are no entries in it.
I bet previous owner erased all that info.

Any ideas?

Hmm, must be a quite unknown issue.
Apparently, HFL - hands free link module is bad.
