Keyless entry issues
I got a 99 Civic LX 4 door. Car did not come with a keyless entry remote fob. I ordered one online. All door locks worked fine before with the interior lock switch. I program the key fob according to directions that were included which was a series of key on hit the lock button and get into programming mode. Well now everyone lock works with keyless and the lock switch except drivers door. I can't imagine within a matter of 5 minutes and programming the fob the driver's side actuator could go bad. It still makes a click sound and the lock looks like it moves a tiny bit, but it does not go all the way down and just just comes back up. Anyone have any ideas what would cause this?
Is it not locking with drivers door open or closed?
If the drivers door is open, it's not locking that door as a dummy feature Honda built in to the cars.
