Look what happened to my ECU!!
I've been having intermittent trouble starting my crx when its hot out. If i rolled the windows down and let the cabin cool off for a bit it would usually start up fine after 20 minutes. I figured it was my main relay and resoldered it about a month ago. We had one or two hot days since then where i thought it wouldnt start...but it did. So i thought 'great, i fixed it!' Fast forward to thursday, i brought the car to work and it sat baking in the parking lot until lunch on a 90* day. I went to go out for lunch and the car wouldnt start, it just cranked and cranked but the fuel pump wouldnt prime. I went out after work and the same thing. Came back later that night with a new main relay, and the same problem.
Next morning i checked the ecu and here is what i found:

Anybody have an idea what could have caused this? Simply the heat? Or maybe a bigger issue? Think it can be repaired ?

Those capacitors have been known to leak and burn the board. Specially the C14 capacitor. It can be fixed as long as there wasn't major damage to the traces on the board. I would suggest that you replace all the capacitors while having this one fixed.
