Post H22a differences.

Just brought a h22a out of 2000 Euro R. Im just wondering what the differences are between this one and the h22a(jdm) Type S that comes in a Lude. Both have redtop valvecovers and I wanna buy a rebuild kit for my one and Im wondering if the Type S kit can be used as they have same bore, stroke, power output etc...

I also have to buy ECU as only purchased longblock, so any indication what I should get would be helpful. And before anyone tells me to search. I tried but I cant get search function to work on here?

Fairly sure they are one in the same, the H22A 'redtop' 217HP engines.

It was down a couple days ago, but it is working again. If you are only use three digits the search may not work. "H22" may not net you anything but "H22A" would. Or use a 'wild car' = " * " added to the end, so rather than "H22" you would put "H22*"

Just bumping if someone can confirm. I've read block is the same so the water pump and belts should be the same right? Will all the gaskets line up?
