Icon2 convert b16a from auto to manual tranny

hello everyone
i am new here
about month ago i bought JDM EK4 SiR with auto transmission
i dont like auto trannies and want convert it to manual
i have almost everything needed for that job

but i am confused about ecu and other wiring problems

engine is a B16A.it`s in very good condition.
i have tranny from EG model

and need help
which ecu to use? and what problems will i find during conversion?
car came from japan, 97 EK4 and it has OBD1 ecu

if i install all hardware as needed and then just replace ecu with manual one
P30 or P72 will it work? or i need change ecu wirings?

sorry for my poor English
if anyone have tried this please help me
thanks in advance

sell the EK4, do not hack it up. Buy a hatch already swapped with a gsr.

i dont live in USA
and here its not easy to get civic with b18c swapped in

so i have ek4 SiR II AT
i have manual tranny from b16 VTi
manual shifter, starter for manual, clutch with lines, pedals. flywheel and clutch disk with pressure plate. everything needed
only thing is missing is ECU

if i install ECU for MT it will be enough and everything work fine
or needs some changes in wiring?

What ECU do you have? How is it possible that you are running an OBD1 ecu in an OBD2 car? If you have an ECU like the p28, it can be converted from automatic to standard very very easily.

JDM EK4 civic runs on OBD1

My fault I did not see the Tbilisi in front of Georgia. Look in the FAQ for this forum and it should run down everything for the swap. I would look for an ECU from the same year car just a manual.

maybe P28 is a better choice than its own ecu?
