Car: 1998 Honda Civic Dx Hatchback

Transmission: Automatic

(NO CELS)

Issue i'm having, at varied RPM's i'm bogging down a bit. Anywhere from 1500-3000RPM. The issue is persistent, and happens a little more harshly whilst the A/C is on. The car also makes a POP sound, like a "Misfire". In other words it's making a loud bang when I let off the gas after accelerating.

Spark Plugs are NEW
Wires are NEW
Distributor NEW
There is no obstruction of the intake blocking airflow to the throttle body.
TPS NEW
Axles NEW

I am also experiencing a ticking sound while braking, not sure if that has anything to do with this.

I'm getting mixed feedback from wherever I look, with people recalling over 20 different issues. I'm just hoping that someone had an issue such as mine and knew a fix. I see this issue A LOT when I google it, and decided to come to Honda Tech in search of an explanation.

I had my TPS put in by a shop so it was calibrated.
