due to a series of unfortunate events my 89 crx is without the whole lock cylinder assembly including the part that connects to the steering column, i have seen a few on ebay that comes with the wire but for different years, would i be able to switch out the wire with the wire i currently have for the ignition? or would i have to find one exactly for my year

 

i just swapped wiring from an 88 rex to a 91 ef hatch so im pretty sure if u stick within the ef years ull b fine
