I just got done rebuilding my transmission, h22 m2b4 lsd transmission. I worked into the late hours of the night and must have missed torquing down the filler bolt. I went down the road about 2 miles, it started to refuse shifting into gear, so I brought the car back home. Apparently the filler bolt backed out and I lost all transmission fluid within about 300 feet of my garage and on the driveway. As it sits it wont engage reverse now. Could that 30 seconds without fluid ruined something? Any advice is appreciated

 

With fluid it may return to semi usable condition but being run with no oil has caused permanent wear damage to lots of parts inside. Unfortunately, I'd say it needs to come apart again.

 

Hi My Honda Accord 2003, jerks when I switch my A/C ON and the transmission starts to malfunction. The switching between gear 1 and 2 jerks and it will not switch from 2 onwards. The problem is solved if I switch of my engine and switch off the A/C then restart the car pls whats the problem???

 

Something in the transmission probably isnt right. I doubt any serious damage, but then again, I have seen motors seize up faster than 2 miles. Time to remove and inspect the parts again.
