Hi guys hoping you can help me with my current problem.

This morning i tried to start the car turned the key on everything works fine as normal lights,radio,etc, but when i tried starting it has the click sound but has no crank so the car wont start but before all of this yesterday when i started the car it turned on but it had a weak crank but it started and i drove as normal then this morning this happened. Btw my ride is a 2000 honda civic sohc engine. Any help will gladly be appteciated.

Manual tranny sir. Yesterday when i started the car it started but the crank was weak.

 

Bad battery,bad connection or bad starter.

 

can you roll start it by popping the clutch?

 

What are the main signs if the starter is bad? Incase it is bad is it easy to change by myself?

 

it's very easy maybe 15 min job at the most

 

Sounds like the battery is done. you can pull it and autozone or any like place will test it for free.

 

Take your battery off and get it charged at AutoZone..takes like an hour. If it is still just doing that "click" when you turn it over, get someone to tap your starter with a wrench or other metallic object, while you try to start the car. Starter would be easy to replace yourself, but this could buy you some time. Sometimes it gets a little stuck and just needs some coaxing..
