Where to find a del Sol antenna block off plate?
I'm having serious problems finding one in stock anywhere. Does anyone know where to get one? Are there any cleaner antennas available other than the ugly stock one? Thanks!

Here you go I had a hard time trying to find one as well but this seems to be the only place that has them. They don't have the illustration like other sites but it's the correct part and part number which is 39152-SR2-A00 for your del sol. http://www.hondapartsdeals.com/produ...s_id=537092288
Goodluck.

I have no idea how my post got on this thread twice sorry about that.... just deleted it and typed in this. I hope you find the plate your looking for.
Is that the plate that completely blocks it off or just the stock antenna plate? I'm looking to get rid out of and block it off. It's ugly.
Yes that should be the block-off plate from the dealership... Here's the diagram from a different site that doesn't carry them. The block off is #10 in the illustration. http://www.hondapartsunlimited.com/o.../39152-sr2-a00
Thank you! I just ordered it and some screws. That second site was very handy. $11 shipping is really sucky though. Oh well. Im just glad I found it.

I've spent time looking for you, for some time, because it caught my interest. I like the way they look...but I can't even find them through Chinese knock-off makers. Long story short, you're going to play hell getting one.
Your best bet, at this point, would be to try to shave it yourself, or use the stock shroud as a base to coat with some sheet fiberglass, or carbon fiber. Wish there was something else I could tell you.

This is a shot in the dark but try calling these guys at inline four and ask if they have any block off plates. Or see if they know anyone that still makes/sells them.

Inline four was one of the first people I called. I've gotten a fair amount of goodies from them. However they no longer carry them either...
you could try http://torontohondaparts.com/PartNumberSearch.aspx maybe a canadian dealer has one
Not sure, but I think I may have one!
I took it off my 95Si, when it was two weeks old.....had the body shop fill and paint the hole.
I then went with a roof top Futaba (sp).
Give me a day or two, and I'll hunt for it, then re-post.
Cheers, Senior Sol

That would be amazing! Please let me know!
Just take the whole assy out and weld in a block off plate and try your hand in some body work. I never liked the thing so that's what I did and she looks great ill post some pics if you want. I bought a new antenna assy from my local speaker shop ill post a pick of it too. I am still working on the full install but my buddy has the same antenna and it works better then stock. The one I have has a little amp on it so you have to pull power from somewhere in the trunk.
Like I said, use the stock plate as a template, and mold some carbon fiber or fiberglass over it. You get your block off plate for stupidly cheap, and you get the satisfaction of making it the way you want it.
