FS: 1997 Civic LX Sedan, 5 speed, Green
Forsale I have a 1997 Honda Civic LX, 4 door, Stickshift, Green on Tan.
LX = Power windows/Locks/Steering/Cruise, and AirCon. (I've I'm wrong on that, I don't need to be corrected, those are the options the car has that I'm aware of
)
Price is $2,500
Car has 233K on it, I purchased this car from its second owner (Daughter of the first owner, personal friend of mine for the past few years who moved to the UK at which point I purchased it. I believe the dad bought it new).
Car has a few dings here and there, but over-all a very solid car.
1.6 Non-VTAAAAAK that runs like a swiss watch as to be expected. Has markings on the timing belt cover indicating replacement, I believe about 50K ago.
I've done the following on this car over the past year:
New return fuel line, and front to rear brake lines (rusted, feed was still solid)
Driver side rear brake cylinder (previous Mechanic broke the bleeder off)
Valve cover gasket (was seeping)
Headlight bulbs (woooo.....)
Poly shifter bushings (ENERGY brand)
Generic Short Shifter (Bushings were toast in the OEM one, shifts PERFECT)
NOTE- the car is undercoated, underbody and sheet metal are all very solid as far as rust is concerned minus a bubble coming up on the pass side rear quarter. You can't even see it unless you basically have your nose to it, EXTREMELY rare find here in the midwest.
Issues:
-headliner has 2 odd nicks in it, along with the passenger side visor, I've replaced the driver side one.
-Dead speaker Passenger side front door
I'm not on these boards frequently anymore, so best to reach me at my email, Dasfinc@hotmail.com
Car is located in Warrenville IL, 60555.
I've cleaned the sweet jesus out of it, so you aren't going to be looking at or buying some junker field with the PO's garbage.
