Great day for the first CRX meet of 2013 ! Weather was near perfect.
Too bad more CRX's didnt show ! I'm now wondering how many CRX's are left on the roads of Ontario...LoL

not really. it's just that 3 cars hardly constitutes a "meet". it's more of what you'd call a coincidence. otherwise there is a "meet" happening in my garage/driveway 24/7 and it's twice the size of this 'event'.

let's agree to call it a g2g...

the honda-tech meet in kitchener was alright a few years ago, and that was prolly 100-150 cars easily.

nevertheless, your car is nice as always - much love. the other red rex is lookin proper as well, it appears to be in top form. i don't care for the wrapped one - it says nothing about the quality of the body or build. it's unique though...

It only has 35,000 km, never seen rain !

i sure do. i also added a 98 EJ8 turbo 270whp dyno'd d series and my new daily, an 01 EM2, in addition to my old summer daily a 93 Satty wagon twin cam and an 02 dakota 4x4 v8.

the sedan is no longer turbo, it's slated for a 98 B18C (R) LSD swap. all i have left to acquire is an OBD2A VTEC harness from an EL or EJ8 and a throttle cable bracket and then i'll start that project. prolly next summer or something...

Another boring Rob. thread. One of these three looks normal. I'd hardly call this a meet.

 

don't know any of those. 1st forum i was kickin it on was purehonda.com back in 1999. prior to that, i had zero opportunity for research. i literally read sport compact car, then ordered stuff from options auto salon. i was alone in my quest for a cool civic until an EBP 99 SiR showed up on the local scene with big dollar backing... 18 inch enkeis, ground control coilovers... all the baller stuff for that time period. i followed soon with ground controls and 17 inch ADR rims, tossing my sustech springs and 15 inch atlas hammer wheels aside. DIY clear corners, grillcraft grill and all that good stuff.


likewise! i figure there are the 'fan boys' who come and go once they realize how much effort it takes to own/build/drive a modified car, then there are the enthusiasts who get pulled away by family duties, and there are guys like us who no matter what will do what we do, because deep down we love this isht.

the fan boys cause the theft and the high insurance rates. once they fall off, the police and insurance and theives all sorta fade a little and make it enjoyable once again to be us. i think we're almost there...

 

it's been covered. not a meet, we agreed to call it a g2g

but being from down south you can't appreciate how hard it is to find one rust-free CRX, let alone TWO... or potentially three... depending on what's under that wrap.
