It looks like it is spot welded which is easy. But if you do have to do it yourself a wirefeed welder would work fine. Or if you have a stick welder you could do slot welds.

If I was at home I could look at my car and give you better feedback.

 

that frame rail looks ok in the pic. why are you replacing it when the original one looks ok.

 

^ makes a good point, I got blinded by the idea of the weld that I didn't look to hard at the frame rail.

Is there something we can't see in this picture?
