Like the topic says I'm asking if the 4th gen JDM h22a cams are exactly the same as USDM 4th gen cams, and if they will fit no problems into a USDM head?

I remember reading about some issues around type-s cams into USDM heads and wanted to check.

 

They are not the same. The JDM are more aggressive. I have seen the specs before with my own 2 eyes. I saw the specs at Race Engineering's tent in their free brochures and information. They listed all the specs of ALL h22a cams and the aftermarket cams they sell.

I have never heard about fitment problems in USDM p13 heads, this is the first im hearing such a rumor. What kind of issues did u remember reading about? If you are that concerned about issues then grab some Crower, Jun or Skunks.

 

I have crower stage 3 cams, but I'm selling them in favor of a turbo setup...so I just need stock cams, unless turbo cams are really worth it.

What I heard...I believe it was from aklucsarits that he saw on a motor wear on the rockers? I can't confirm, but he should comment eventually. A long as the fit I'm fine with it.
