is a zc drop into a 88 dx?
hey a mate here has an 88dx (australian) 5spd and wants to buy my engine (ZC) ...hes just wondering if itd be a direct bolt in?? and also are there any other major hassles?

yeah he has 2 injetors and your ZC has 4. he must switch. that is the only difference. good luck.
he needs 89 teg ecu and an injector resistor and some good

p.s hes getting someone to do it for him so he wont need instructions...hes just trying to get a shoppin list of the stuff hell need and just a confirmation that it aint a hard job..

The ZC will bolt right into the DX chassis and will even use the DX transaxle. But, your friend will have to convert from DX DPFI (2 fuel injectors) to MPFI (4 fuel injectors like an Si or HF). The distributor wiring is a little different than the SOHC Si, though. You can change the DX harness to work with MPFI and the ZC ECU will plug into the same harness end (but will not work properly unless you have converted the harness to MPFI specifications).
