Default conversion help

hey guys i have a d16 ek civic i wanna put a b16a in there if im correct i need a gearbox bracket a t bracket and a timing belt brack where can i get those and is there like online conversion packs i can get ??

you need the rear T bracket

b16 should already have the correct timing belt bracket (post mount)

the transmission bracket that bolts TO the trans you just re use your original d16 bracket.

no there is no such "conversion pack" you must buy these parts individually

well i went to this guy he said i need all 3 of the (brackets) i have a d16 99ek1im the b16 is coming out of a crx

whoa why a b16 from crx?? it is probably obd0


92 95 hondas are obd1 electronics 96 and up is obd2

putting a obd0 swap in a obd2 car is do able but damnnn

i picked up the del sol for 1000 , im new to honda whats wrong with that conversion??? cant find any of these brackets i need some help locating them , if the b16a was coming out of an em1 wouldnt it be the same i know ill need a obd2 harnesss im using a ek4 loom it was out of an auto so i think some splicing needs to be done i just need those bracket no the mounts if it was an eg the t bracket would have clearence

^^ there is your driver side post mount


THE PASSENGER SIDE TRANS BRACKET IS THE SAME AS D SERIES.. UNBOLT THE BRACKET OFF THE D16 TRANS AND BOLT IT ONTO YOUR NEW TRANSMISSION.
