Icon2 d16a6 block d15b7 head with a6 cam

like the tittle says, I have a d15b7 head with its cam, and an a6 cam. There is a d16a6 bottom end at the upull it. Ive read that the heads are the same just the cam is different. So if i use the a6 cam in the d15b7 head on the d16a6 bottom end will i have a legit d16a6? Which would have me useing all the d16 parts like the timing belt, water pump, ect.

yes, the D15B7 head is the same as the D16A6 head - with the D16A6 block, D15B7 head and D16A6 cam, your engine would be the same as a D16A6
