Are wheel nuts universal?

I have a stock '94 Civic EX Coupe. Stock steel wheels (4x100 14" +45).
I am putting '99 EK4 Sir OEM alloy wheels (4x100 15" +45).
I am aware of the correct tires to put on (195/50/15).

Will the stock wheel nuts form the '94 work or are the wheel nuts wheel specific?
I have scoured the internet and called many dealers, but cannot find a definitive answer.

 

Yes they will work. Different wheels don't change the size of the lug nut.

 

Much appreciated OmgDelSol, of course Honda has different part numbers depending on the year which makes it quite confusing.

 

the only thing to be aware of is the stud pitch and do not use oem lug nuts on aftermarket wheels.

every honda stud pitch is m12x1.5
