HOW DO I LOWER MY HONDA?!
Hello everybody, how do I lower my car? and how much will it cost? I have a 1996 Honda Civic hatchback on 195/60r15s and I want to lower it. What will I need? Lowering springs or coilovers? New struts and or shocks? HELP! I'm clueless on this haha

Well, learning for your self is always better than getting spoon fed, although the answer/suggestion you got was pretty solid. There's several different approaches to lowering, each having pros and cons. Click around some on some of the suspension threads here, read and see what you like in the positive and what you want to avoid on the negative. Once you nail-down approach, you'll have to nail-down what brand you'll be using. They do vary in price and performance.
I lowered mine about a couple of inches, it could go lower but then things start rubbing, so i think it's at a good height right now. \it's really easy to play around with the height to figure out what works for you

Easy answer? Coilovers.
Crazy, there's this thing called Google. Every heard of it? I'll help you out before you ask "What kind of coilovers should I get?", then I'll even go on to answer the THIRD thread that you would make to ask the question of "What rates should I get for my coilovers". Well buddy-boy, you're in luck. Get the Koni/GC coilovers at 350/300 if you want a nice, smooth, daily driveable ride. 450/400 if you want a more aggressive feel.

alright cool, I'll be saving up to get these. They don't cause a bouncy drive?
its easy if you are familiar with doing it, it all depends on how much you want to spend, i had recently threw a set of megan springs on my CG3 2inch drop and it went pretty smooth, i like them alot...only part thats dangerous and difficult about the job is compressing/decompressing the springs , you can make life easy and pull all 4 complete and take them to Pep boys and they will swap the springs for like $80, just make sure you watch them cause honda have to line up or you will be twisting your *** off trying to get it back together.. good luck
