Hi

I have a stock Honda civic fk1 1.4 petrol.
I have changed the battery a few months ago don't know if this has cause the problem.
The alarm set it self off intermittently every so often when parked on my drive.

Now the central locking will work on the key fob button but the lights do not flash to say alarm is set or flash to say its unset. the red light on the dash doesn't flash to indicate that its activated.

Any ideas what it could be. all help is appreciated!

 

alarms are tricky man! I've locked one on my old camry. My gf has this problem with her accord (alarms randomly going off) so I'd like to know as well!

 

Mine no longer wants to activate unless im standing right next to it , and then it still takes a few trys :/
