I have 195/55/R15 right now now and I wanted to run 185/45/R15 but I can't find that size. What size tire should I go with? And my rim is 7.5 inches wide there drag dr20's.

 

are you going for looks (like stretched or juicy sidewall) or performance and what offset is the rims?

Looking to keep the same height tire or taller? (a taller tire will make your gearing longer)

 

225-50-15

225/45R15. (competition tire size, streetable race tires

225/50R15 is in the same boat as the 225/45, comprising of race tires but there is a very limited selection of regular tires.


Edit 185/45 is ridiculously small in height and width for this rim. Are you looking to stretch? Also if you do go with that I would suggest increasing the spring rate to prevent bottoming out.

that's 2 inches shorter than the 195 not including the height reduction as a result of stretching the tire to fit which would probably be another 1/4-1/2 inch.

 

What you have now is more safe than what your thinking of getting. Get a tire that fits the wheels!!!! 205 or bigger...

 

I'm going with 15x7 20+ lowered just for daily driving? Is 195/45/15 acceptable

 

not in my opinion. i was running that setup with 205 easily
