Default Header install fitment

Installing a DC ceramic header on my stockish EM1. I cant get the header to fit over the head exhaust studs simultaneously with the exhaust hanger studs (just behind the oil pan). Is there a trick to making it fit? I didn't think I'd have to remove the studs in the head.

Loosen or remove the two 12mm exhaust hangar bolts, up by the oil filter
