Default Check engine

sup everybody.

I get a check engine light once in a while. checked the code, it was 22. Played with the wire to make sure I have a good connection. Read another thread about cleaning the V-tec filter, did that. Reset the ECU.

It ran fine for a while... now I notice it comes on if the car is in idle for more than 5 minutes... its always 22. Do I have to replace the solenoid or are there any other tests i can do?

any help appreciated!!

turtle16a,

I assume this is a b16a swap. Maybe check to make sure the pressure switch moves freely. It may be sticking or something. Not sure why you will only throw a code after your car sits and goes again. Does the CEL come on while you drive on the freeway? Check your wiring?

It's a B16 swap, the switch is fine, checked the wiring with a buddy of mine and they were good.
