Default Headliner differences between STD and DX Hatchback models

I am looking to find out what the differences are in headliners between the STD and DX models.. For one I am aware that the STD only came with a rear view mirror and the DX came with the seat belt indicator in front of the rear view mirror.. I am looking to see if someone can provide a good pictured of and STD model of the area around the rear view mirror to see if the headliners mold is the same.. Let me know thanks.

My 91 STD has the seat belt indicator in front of the mirror. Not sure how that affects your statement but just saying maybe there's no difference? I'd be willing to bet it's really a difference of sunroof vs non sunroof.

Ok.. so still different variations between the available option maybe could of been dealer installed as a request.. really would just like a pic of that area around the rear view mirror to see if its the same from my DXfor a 90-91 model.. Mine has like a stepped molded area and think maybe the STD may have a flat area?

thats because like most all other ef's, theres a main difference between 88-89 and 90-91 years. the later half( for hatches) had door mounted seatbelts and thats why the indicator exists whereas the earlier hatches had pillar mounted seatbelts. having the door open meant you werent really buckled in and was a safety concern so thats why the indicator again.

im probably wrong but civic at least older ones didnt have that option. i know integras and new ex civics had that option but yes u can wire it in. pretty easy too. i would go after a DC integra one as it has dual output selection vs a civic one which lights up the entire light.
