My 02 Accord LX is acting up. After driving approximately 2 hrs the car will start to stall when accelerated. If I stop the car for a few minutes then the car appears to drive normal again??? But not always.
I've had the car to the shop 3 times now and the problem remains, I'm stumped!!!
I was driving along Interstate 26 going down hill, I pres the accelerator down and the car goes into passing gear and the car starts to stall. It decelerates and when I let off the gas it goes back to normal. Any demand of a quicker acceleration and the car acts up. If I manually pull the car into D3 the car acts as though it will stall. Going back into D4 everything is normal except on acceleration. What I mean is the car will accelerate but at a slower pace. Push it to the floor and some times the RPM age will fluctuate like its on the rev-limiter.
I drive approximately 3 hrs to work once a week so he nice warm feeling that im almost here is gone. I hate to have this riding on my job! Going home isn't to nice either.

I have a friend who thinks its the fuel filter!
Anyone else ever had this kind of problem???

 

Replace he fuel filter if you haven't done so yet, its a possibility that it could be causing your troubles yet there is a more likely culprit, like the TPS.
