I have a p28 with a mugen chip but that chip has no rev limiter and I need one. Is it difficult to rechip and ecu if you have a basic knowledge of wiring or is it diificult?
Does anyone have any detailed directions to do it or has anyone done it thereself?
Thanks

If your ECU is already chipped with a Mugen program, most likely the person who chipped it soldered in a socket for the ROM chip in which case rechipping it is a piece of cake. Literally plug and play. Go to Hyperduck tuning or someone similar and buy a chip for your ECU that has the rev limit you want, open the ECU up, unplug the old ROM and plug in the new one.
Just make sure you take off your shoes and socks when you install it, I know it sounds funny but static electricity can destroy those chips and going barefoot will help ground out any static electricity you are carrying.
