Default 98 GSR w/ B18C turbo build

Got home from Afghanistan and started my turbo build that I've been getting together since I deployed. I will be running a garret 60 trim with tial wastegate running 15lbs. I will also be running 1000cc injectors from five-0 motorsports and 340lph intank fuel pump running on E85 gas. I'm looking to get around 350-400hp with this setup. I will be posting pics here later once my Internet starts working since I'm posting this from my iPhone. I'm open to comments and constructive criticism from all members.

How long were you in Afghanistan for ? Will you be going back out or was that your last deployment ? Sorry, I know it's not related to your build. I'm just curious

Ha, I have a red one in place but the yellow one I have will get sand blasted and maybe hydro dipped or powder coated a candy blue or anodized looking blue, whatever you wanna call it. What outfit are you from? I know a few people who were over there but they were in the Navy so it's not like they had a rough time.

Thanks guys I got more pics to post when my mother in law gets off the computer. I actually have a question for you guys.... A lot of people are telling me that I need to stretch my ARP head studs....how do I do that? I'm currently at that point in the build where I'm installing them and need to know how to stretch them before complete installation.

You don't. Just follow ARP's instructions and you won't go wrong. Just make sure all the studs bottom-out and are at the same level. Put a ruler across them to be sure if you wish.

You can tighten the studs up in the block if you wish. Make sure you don't go too mad though 10-15ft/lb is enough.

as you can see I don't have a lot of room to work in my garage which sucks but im making work.

Make sure you keep everything as clean as clean can be. I've recently had to pull my engine apart due to oil contamination which could of been avoided. If you're unsure, then strip the lot down and blast it all down with a power wash and degreaser. It's better to be safe now, than sorry later...

Make sure you put everything in plastic Zip lock baggies and LABEL THEM!

did that with all the engine bolts and parts already. the rest of the car like suspension bolts I just threw all in a couple bags cuz I know where each one goes. but I did label all the engine bolts like the cam bolts and what not. Thanks a lot guys. I will post more pics later once I get the head studs all in and the motor back together.
