spark plug wires
What engines are you talking about? OBD1 F22A1,4-6 or OBD1 F22B1-2
If you are talking about the 94-95 OBD1 F22B1 and/or F22B2 and the 96-97 OBD2 F22B1 and/or F22B2. They are the same part number for each engine (VTEC and Non VTEC are different).
So short answer here is, No there isn't a difference between wires for the same code engines.

NGK web site lists the OBD2 1996 Prelude plug as ZFR6F*-** with a 0.044 gap. Then the 2001 OBD2 Prelude plug as ZFR6F*-** with a o.044 gap. According to the NGK website the 96 - 2001 spark plugs are the same part numbers. What part numbers did you buy? Are they he same heat range and gap? Ether of these things will make plugs run differently.

Note: NGK also lists the ZFR6F as the OEM spark plug for the 93-95 OBD1 H22A1.... so ether way, you should have bought two sets of the same plug. ZFR6F with a gap of 0.044. If you bought something different that could be why they misfire.
Plug wires are the same part numbers for the OBD1 93-95 H22A1 and the OBD2 96-01 H22A4.
NGK part number =RC-HE65
Stock number = 8019
One of the plug wires could be defective out of the box. You can test the resistance and see if one of them has a higher than normal (spec) resistance or no continuity.
Where you having any misfire issues before you switched out the plug wires?

Sorry to bring this thread back fro the dead but I didn't want to make a new thread just to ask my question. I have a 01 gsr with b20 vtec swap. running 12.1:1 cr. can I run ngk he65 spark plug wires on this setup up? I know they are for a prelude but it's the only ngk wires I found that are 8mm. can I use them or should I just go with the he64 which are the 7mm?
