Cad drawings or at least accurate hand drawings with dimensions, materials, tolerances are all things you will need before you can approach a company and be taken seriously

The more thinking you do for the place that will be making your parts, the cheaper it will be.

You can do what I did. I drew up the parts i needed made, to scale, in Adobe Illustrator and saved the file as a DWG/CAD for the waterjet cutter to work off of.

Good idea GM
I asked few people but they didnt really tell me what they did
and were pretty vague in their answers.for whatever reason.
Do i just look in a business directoey or is there a better way to find shops that specialize in makjng parts from prototypes. I have more than 2 parts in mind just 2 i already made prototypes.

I just happened to stumble across a waterjet cutter back in the day when I modded computer cases. I'm sure a local machinist can work with you to do this.
Here is my mockup of an old project.

Here's what he came up with.

Final product.

Are you scared someone's gonna take your revolutionary synergized L bracket design? Or is it on some secret nuclear defense program?

In either case, if you have the skill/ talent to make a wonderful idea, or are making slanty eyed korean defense missiles, why didnt you google, cnc machining?.. And you'd see tons of online resources that offer design and cutting services. You can send them an xdf, the part, etc, and get a quote. Or the multitude of resources that are, no doubt, waiting to be tapped locally.

no but i dont want people stealing my ideas and making them before i even have a chance to make first run...

i tried googling but iwasnt looking for right keywords.

no need for this bullshit and flaming.

i dont have to produce it but i think it will help make life easier for alot of people and im trying to find ways to make it very cheap or reasonably cheap to be sold to honda people which i know are cheap as **** and will go to extreme lengths to save 25 cents.
i could just make if for myself and my friends and be done with it.

i wanted to gather some cash for my other projects so if these 2 parts turn out to be usefull i can bring my other ideas to life with that money.

I draw in solisworks but program everything at the machine by hand. Regardless of lathe or mill. Take a look in my SIG for the little I do.

I can almost guarantee you that the price to CNC small parts is not worth it to sell until you start ordering 500+ at a time at which you can get the price per unit down 50% from a single.

You will probably be looking at 80-150$ just to machine a small bracket, so in order to have any kind of profit you'd have to sell it for around $200. Most Honda kids won't fork that money.

Then make them by hand, because in no way will you be able to afford the quantity and initial investment to be able to be profitable to sell them at that price point.

most machine shops wont even fire up their CNC's for $20. your going to need a MASSIVE run of these things for them to mass produce, and even then i doubt it would be for less than $20 to make a profit. your vagueness for what these are is making it that much harder to gauge the machinability of it to begin with

if its simple bracketry, your probably better off having it made in pieces of 1/8"-1/4" steel and welding together, where you would want the pieces cut in a water jet, in a mass production, then assembled and welded...at which point i still dont see you making much of a profit selling much of anything that is hand made for only $20

not trying to be a dick, but i know damn well that i am sounding like one right now, but odds are, whatever this bracket is, and for the simplicity of it, and the cheap price, somebody can make it themselves
