I've never done it, but i have bought a couple crx's with it in already. Back in the day, A/C was a dealer installed option, so it can definitely be done

Your going to need....wire harness, evaporator w/box, hard lines, soft lines, condensor, condensor fan, compressor w/matching bracket, drier, a/c dash switch. Installed mine last Sept. and it works great!!!!

Good. Make sure you have everything. Even the little brackets that hold the lines. Ya, the harness starts on the inside, goes out the firewall and snakes around to the condensor fan.

NO - not the entire behind the dash harness.

Just the A/C harness.
It has the relays and such as shown in the bottom left of this picture.
Behind the dash it makes two connections.
One is to the A/C switch and the other is to an existing (on all dash harnesses) one wire connector near the ECU (bumps up idle RPM when A/C is on).

A/C harness came from a 1991 CRX Si. The connector to the pressure switch is cracked but still connects to the other end.

Hmm...looks like that harness has been messed with by the looks of that butt connector. Trying to see if both relays and noise suppressor is there.

Yes, butt connectors where used to connect to the A/C fan wires. Here are a few more pictures.
