How do these valves look ?
Heads off again....for no real reason
. the HG has never given me any trouble the car burns NO oil and coolant from what I can tell as level has never dropped but the valves do look rather white(coolant ?). there is a fair but of build up on ALL of them afaik they were replaced last September.

theyre pretty black (the chambers) but your valves look good. exhaust valves run hotter so that white buildup youre seeing is actually ash deposits from oil being burnt. like i said though, dirty and lots of carbon, but i dont see anything amiss

ypur car will always burn some oil in the form of vapors and the like, but it looks like you were running pretty rich considering how much carbon buildup you have

i don't understand removing a head for "no real reason" with no apparent engine problems or failure why are we randomly removing a head?
the valves look filthy but it is expected with the gasoline we have here in the US

Well the car had a really bad running rich problem has since been fixed but this Is the first time the head's been off since. so yes the carbon build up is plentiful took it off because I got a compression Schrader valve stuck in the hole....tuned out I just needed pliers and didn't have to go and bore it out like I originally thought. from what I know the gas in pretty good in Ontario Canada we have 94 as a max and some thing like 87 as the lowest.
