Default 96spec aftermarket strut options

Hey Just like the title says, I've been doing some research but can't really find anything about my 96 spec suspension. Is it interchangeable with USDM ITR suspension? Can I buy after market shocks for 94-01 integra and use those?? Any direction would be much appreciated. Thanks

PS: This is the set up I want to buy:

Our cars have shocks, not struts.

And any shock and/or coilover from a 92-95 Civic and/or 94-01 Integra will fit on your '96.

USDM ITR and non-ITR rear LCAs are not compatible. Unless JDM suspensions are different, the rear shock will need to be ITR-specific. That or you'll need to change control arms.

Yea Gagnar thats what I was hearing. I don't know the suspension compatibility of a 96 spec ITR. That is why I was trying to get some insight. I've heard the jdm 96 spec suspension is also different than the jdm 98 spec suspension. So I'm assuming the USDM ITR suspension is compatible because I think someone recently swapped out a JDM suspension for a USDM on this forum. Can't remember who tho..

I assumed you were referring to all things JDM. Which in that case, the 92-95/94-01 Integra had the same rear LCAs as the ITR did.

USDM 92-95 Civics and normal 94-01 Integras had a different style.

You will need to determine what LCA you have and go from there.
