Really interesting the way the motor is mounted. Did that help with axle angles as well?

Probably didnt affect angles much... But helps with ram air velocity and weight redistribution... Brillant!

That part seemed obvious. It is a pretty neat trick. I was curious about the angles though because if you were to rotate the engine forward say, roughly about the crankshaft, you could bring the axle holes upward to control the angle, even on a lower than stock car... keeping in mind that a little bit of angle is better than a perfectly straight axle.

The setup looks awesome.

Prayoonto replied on K20A.org that the axle position did not move much/any if I remember correctly. But this would off course mean that the oil sump now sits a lot lower (if the axle position is the pivot point). Something have to move up or down.

Good results anyway!

idk why i havent gotten email notifications for this thread. figured no one replied lol.

the axle angle is fine. they point slightly downward now instead of up.

first time out to the track didnt go without lots of drama lol.

here is some two step tuning from friday night

first pass out i think my allignment is jacked up and its pulling hard to the right. i stay in it on a good pass. cracked a 1.55 60.

come to find out you cant leave the water pump plate breather open on gangsta lean and oil was dumping onto my right slick and i almost lost it at 130+

THEN next round my switch panel just clicks off everything on the launch. i assume it cant handle the vibration so i put towels under it and tried again and got eliminated first round with it shutting off again on the launch. so a buddy of mine tells me to make sure no power wires are loose and sure enough my charge terminal nut was almost ready to fall off.

the track let me do a test and tune run and i went for broke. i spun pretty hard on the initial hit and got a 10.64 @ 132

missed the initial launch in the vid

i have the incar video of me getting loose im waiting to get the go pro file emailed to me to see it.

heres the slips

some race pics
