Default HONDA HURT!!

I need an estimate of the amount of money that I would have to spend on a new exhaust system, or at least a new muffler for a 99 CIVIC LX.

thanks guys

Go with Meineke Mufflers. They will put an badass exhaust on for around $350......but the parts is a mere $50 if that much.

Jeez! Read the other thread you posted in. It's all in there. I mentioned it at least 2 times! Or you could have Googled it.

Best bet is to buy a muffler first , of your liking do research, & then Tell a local muffler shop thats with the **** to connect your muffler to a 2.25" piping . If person charges you over $150 for labor. GTFO.

There is no best.
Tell you what, take it to Mieneke and have them rustle you one up from scratch.

Let's put it this way. With the busted system she had on compared to this one, I couldn't hear her drive off to work whereas B.Y. (Before Yonaka) I could hear her coming from a block away. Sounds similar to what you hear on Youtube clips. Wife says it sounds like a whole new car and is very pleased.

Yonaka gets the spouse seal of approval.

That made me spit water on my keyboard. My wife gave me the thumbs up when I put a new exhaust on her Subaru.

All the times I've been under this car I never noticed this was all one piece. I had to take the sawzall to it to get it out. AND SO MANY HOLES IN THIS THING!!! And check the crap OBX muffler that was on it. Some piece broke off inside of it and it's been rattling to the point of embarrassment. Wife had to keep apologizing when she would go through drive thrus.

Nice shiney Yonaka hotness. Went on without a hitch but I will say those spring bolts were a bitch. No fitment issues like others have claimed. Not a bad buy for $239!!

Sorry. No underneath shots. Got tired of looking at it TBH. Sounds nice. Meaning,; louder than stock, not rice or raspy at speed. Pretty much how the sound clips on Youtube demonnstrate. On a budget? Get this.
