ok 92 accord lx coup auto trans.

sitting in park go to reverse very loud clunk noise kind like a grinding noise too. this only happens when shifting in R there is fulid in the trans and my trans mount is fine.

this happend around 1am after i got off work but didnt do it at all when i left for work at 5pm i only drove about 3 miles.

so any help

 

There are four mounts on the car......I'd inspect all of them

 

How many miles on the engine/transaxle? Every forth gen i deal with has transaxle issues. It's common for them to be ****.
