Alright Honda-Tech, I got a doozy for you. After replacing my intake manifold gasket, car was running like a champ. Getting ready to go to a ride to the bank, car dies at idle at a red light. Turn around, go home and check my vacuum hoses, everything checks out. Clean out my iavc, looks good and cleaned my throttle before reinstalling intake. Get back in car, car is running fine. Get back in the car a couple hours later, stalls again.

It is at this point I get side tracked and realize that my spark plugs are not connected to my dizzy in the right order. Thinking this might have caused the stalling. (Note: ran like this for a good while and never caused a problem).Reinstall plugs and go to start the car, no start, just a sad whirring noise, the engine doesn't sound like its turning. Check out the dizzy, everything looks immaculate, not even a leak. Same thing with the cap. Double check ecu, good. Take the alternator to get checked at auto parts store, good, but battery bad. Is there something I'm missing here? Need this car to get to work asap, anybody got any pointers?

 

see if you swapped the TPS and MAP sensor connectors...this happens a lot ....also the IAT and IACV connectors

 

Thanks man, just swapped the MAP and there ya' go. Also, a vac line was about to fall off, went to the egr... that couldn't have been good. Good lookin'.
