2000 gsr sedan keep or sell?
Just as the title says i hav e a 2000 teg gs-r 4dr and im not sure if its worth selling due to not alot of people looking for a gs-r 4dr. i bought the car on a whim and still havent gotten through it bugs it has 107xxx on it and it seemed to be running rich with a lower idle (300-400 rpm) and throwing o2 codes so i got 2 new one and put them in not much of a change but a little better mpg (ave 25.3) so i tried new plugs, wires, iacv, and checked the impedence of the injectors in along with i replaced the vavle seals, head gasket, timing belt water pump, valve cover gasket and cam seal just to be sure everything was in proper order. the only code it throws is #45 too rich or too lean. so now you all know the issues so do i wash my hands of it and attempt finding a buying for it and get a new project or keep it?
Oh man I would have loved owning a 2000 db8! I would've chose a db8 over a dc2 especially a year 2000 one! All I found on Craigslist were beat up high mileage db8s, you have a gem there buddy, keep it and cherish it.

There IS a market for them, I've been looking and its rare to find a gsr sedan in AZ that's not a egay baby or hack job. A lot of the local market depends on location. There's still places out there that believe domestic is better(its not and we know this-especially fwd)
A good inspection/test drive will reveal this. If someone gets scammed they almost deserve it for not doing their homework. This is why I trust hardly anyone when it comes to vehicles. What a douche- buyer beware.
not saying to rip someone off, just keep the gsr block for a race build later. I have an LS chassis with lsvtec turbo. I built whats in it... Gsr tranny with ls 5th gear.... it all depends on the person, its not a scam, its called a come up. you dont have to sell it as if it had a gsr block in it.
i would end up pulling the motor myself and swaping in something nice :]
