2002 Startup problems
I recently replaced the battery, spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor and oil in y 2002 Honda civic 4 cylinder EX. The engine tries to start but wont. I initially had the cords placed wrong on the distributor cap and the car was misfiring when i tried to start it. I fixed the order and the car is no longer misfiring, but the car wont start. What should i check next?
I forgot to add...I added a small bottle of fuel injector cleaner to the tank while doing this tuneup. The tank was about 1/4 full. Would this have any effect on the fuel/air aspect?
UPDATE: I had a friend test the plugs with me, we found that there is no spark. I heard that in some of these types of engines, when replacing the battery the car will disengage some of the igition elements. Im wondering if maybe when i replaced the battery, my ignition coil may have been disengaged?
