what up my name is Jose. I'm from San Diego CA. I drive a 1998 civic dx hatchback (Ej6) I believe it has a d16 engine which Im guessing is bone stock. I havnt had the car too long. idk what im going to do with it excactly since im basically a noobie and I still have allot to learn. Any tips you guys could throw my way would be greatly appreciated.

 

If you want it fast, swap the engine. If you want it even faster, boost the swapped engine. If you want it even faster... no fat chicks in the car.

If you just wanna keep it stock and reliable, just keep the maintenance up on it and you'll be good!

welcome to the forum and yeah it all depends on what you want to do... do you want to drag, road race, or just keep the same and want to know normal maintenance.

 

Yeah swapping the engine is some thing I would like to do, but I'm just focusing on saving up money since I have very little funds to spare at the moment. The car was in ruff shape when I got it but I think I almost have it back up to normal. Plus this is my daily driver, and I want to keep learning. I want to take my time and do it the rite way
